Alpine Academy

Abbi joined the Alpine Academy programme for 2023, as a member of its biggest ever line-up featuring nine drivers of eight different nationalities and continues into the 2024 season.

Spanning six different series from FIA Formula 2 through to European Karting, the Alpine Academy programme continues to develop young talent with the aim to help them progress in their careers in both the formula and endurance series.

Physical Preparation

The Alpine Academy aims to help drivers develop as rounded athletes with tailor-made programmes for fitness and nutrition as well as necessary training for off-track skills. Prior to the start of the 2024 season, Academy drivers attended a training programme with Tenerife Top Training to help prepare them physically for the start of their respective series. The physical preparation needed for each race continues throughout the year with drivers working continuously with the Academy programme.

Track Action

On track, Alpine Academy drivers are able to implement the training they have undertaken with the Alpine Academy and showcase exactly why they are a part of the programme. The pathway for Alpine’s young drivers to reach the pinnacle of motorsport is clear.

Abbi's Trajectory

Abbi first connected with Alpine during the 2022 season - where she became an Alpine Affiliate Driver whilst competing in the W Series Championship - following an impressive 2021 season.
After a strong 2022 season in W Series - finishing P4 overall, this season saw Abbi graduate to an Alpine Academy member and joined RODIN Carlin to compete in the new-for-2023 F1 Academy Championship, where she finished P5 in the Championship - with multiple pole positions and podium finishes.

“I am very pleased to be continuing with the Alpine Academy for the 2024 season, alongside racing in the new Formula 1 Academy Series. Their support has been fundamental to my career progression both on track technically, and off-track too – for example the winter training programme."

"We have an exciting plan for this coming season, as well as the seasons beyond too. I have already learnt a great deal in the ten months of being part of the Alpine, so one of this year’s aims is to keep learning and developing. A new dual campaign season this year brings new challenges, however I am confident with the preparation I have been undergoing over the winter, to be in the best possible position.”
