Abbi enjoyed a sensational 2024 F1 Academy season with the Rodin Motorsport team, securing nine victories and standing on the podium in all 14 races, culminating in her decisive championship victory. Coupled with a successful return to British F4, she etched herself into the history books, becoming the first female driver to pick up a race win in the series.
As part of winning the F1 Academy Championship, Abbi earned her place in GB3 with Rodin Motorsport, and she and the team will look to build on the success of last season. She will join fellow Rodin Cars ambassador and British F4 teammate Alex Ninovic and Gianmarco Pradel as they contend with the additional challenge of an exciting, brand-new car, which was tested by the team for the first time this week.
Abbi enters her third year with the Farnham-based team, joining them in 2023 for the inaugural season of F1 Academy. She becomes the first female ambassador for Rodin Cars, reflecting her fantastic achievements and the company's dedication to fostering top-tier talent in motorsport.
David Dicker, Rodin Cars founder, said;
“At Rodin Cars, we are dedicated to nurturing talent and providing opportunities for drivers to reach their full potential. The addition of Abbi Pulling as an ambassador to our team not only strengthens our competitive edge but also aligns with our vision of promoting excellence in motorsport.
“I’m pleased that she will be lining up alongside Alex in GB3 this season and I’m looking forward to a strong season watching what all three of our Rodin Cars ambassadors can achieve this year as we continue to drive the future of racing forward.”
Abbi Pulling said,
“I’m really excited to extend my relationship with Rodin Cars and become an ambassador for the brand. We have already had some brilliant success together in British F4 and F1 Academy and I can’t wait for what’s to come in this next chapter as I take on GB3 with the team."
" I am so thankful to Emma and David for the way they have supported my career. There are so many brilliant drivers that have come through the doors at Rodin, and I look forward to adding to the history books.”
With this new and exciting role with Rodin Cars, Abbi has decided not to renew with the BWT Alpine Formula One Team.
Abbi joined the programme in March 2022, which led to great success - including her F1 Academy Championship winning campaign last season.
Abbi reflects,
"I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the BWT Alpine F1 team, from those at the factory to the incredible partners and sponsors -for all their support along the way!
I’ve met some amazing people and made memories that will stay with me forever. Merci, Alpine 💙"
